After arriving at Youling Village at noon, the students moved into 12 households according to the arrangement in advance, and carried out intensive investigation and practice according to the investigation principles formulated by Mr. Hu Jing. The team responsible for the basic situation investigated the history, culture, clan, religion, resources, geography, hydrology, population, economy and other conditions of Youling Village; The group in charge of oral history conducted in-depth interviews with six Yao elders in the village, which restored their life track; The group responsible for household survey understands the household, housing, homestead, contracted land, economy, consumption and other contents of the household through interview, observation, measurement and other methods; The team in charge of the topic carried out a special survey from the aspects of village administration and governance, infrastructure, agriculture, processing industry and tourism, farmland and homestead, mountain and forest land, water and water conservancy, disease and medical treatment, the elderly, left-behind children, women and so on.

All students strictly abide by the investigation discipline and love Youling's "one mountain, one water, one plant and one tree", which is welcomed by the villagers. In addition to the intense investigation, the seven-day farm life will also become an unforgettable memory of the students. Some chickens here run around the ground, some stand proudly on the wall, and some fight at night; Dogs of different sizes shuttle through the alleys of Yaozhai, which is surprisingly mild. In addition, the unique King Pan Festival, bonfire party, costumes, musical instruments, etc. of Yao nationality fascinate students. There are also harvested rice fields, rolling mountains, villages halfway up the mountain, and so on. The ancient Yaozhai has unlimited customs and scenery.

On the last morning of November 27, everyone held a summary meeting on the farm next to the village committee. Secretary Tang of the village committee delivered an impassioned speech, and student representatives delivered a thank-you speech. Two students presented a banner to the Youling village committee,. At 12:30 noon, everyone reluctantly stepped on the bus back to the university city.
